Paul D. Pfeiffer

 I am a writer and editor. My writing work  has encompassed all sorts of projects including essays, articles, white papers, and video scripts. However, I also write literary fiction and nonfiction of all sizes.

My formal education includes a BA in English and Rhetoric from the University of Illinois-Champaign, a year studying drama and literature in Wales, a playwriting certificate from the University of Washington’s Extension College, and a Masters of Fine Arts in creative writing from Indiana University.

Education is an excellent path for a writer, as long as you have plenty of adventures along the way. Mine have included a Peace Corps stint in the Philippines, working as a cook in a night club in Alaska, and playing in a band in Seattle.

Then there are those inspiring daily adventures of being part of a family, a neighborhood, and a community.
